Abstract While both leadership and turnover has received the interests of management scholars worldwide (Wells and Peachey, 2011), little previous research in business management has investigated the relationship between transformational leadership and employee voluntary turnover. Specifically in Egypt, this research is the first attempt to study the relationship between transformational leadership behaviors and employee voluntary turnover through organizational commitment. Thus, it addressed this theoretical gap in an effort to shed more light on the role of transformational leadership in retaining employees, through studying the impact of transformational leadership and each of its behaviors on employee voluntary turnover. 10.
