Abstract

The aim of the present study was twofold.
Part A:
To evaluate the effect of root canal preparation by using Wave One Gold on postoperative pain compared to ProTaper Universal in patients requiring non-surgical root canal treatment including asymptomatic/ symptomatic irreversible pulpitis in maxillary or mandibular molars.
Part B:
To evaluate the effect of root canal preparation by using Wave One Gold on the amount of apical extrusion of debris compared to ProTaper Universal in extracted mandibular premolars.
