Abstract The present study was designed to identify the ideal conditions for micro propagation of two commercially important citrus rootstocks, sour orange (Citrus aurantium, L.) and volkamer lemon (Citrus volkmeriana,Ten.), and two citrus cultivars navelina navel orange, (Citrus sinensis L.Osbeck) and murcott mandarin (Citrus reticulate, Blanco) for proliferation,efficient rooting, and acclimatization of plantlets.
