Abstract The objective of this study was to evaluate the surface resorption, ridge width and bone vitality of autogenous block grafts covered with PRF membrane versus those covered with collagen membranes. Test of hypothesis: since platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) has been found to release cytokines and growth factors which enhance soft tissue healing & bone formation, so it was hypothesized that the use of platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) membrane compared to collagen membrane can reduce the surface resorption of autogenous block grafts for augmentation of anterior maxillary deficient ridges. Null hypothesis: There is no difference between PRF and collagen membrane in reducing the surface resorption of autogenous block grafts for augmentation of anterior maxillary deficient ridges.
