المستخلص This study was intended to examine the relationship between creativity and managers’ job performance in the Egyptian Telecom Company (TE). A qualitative and analytical research designs were employed for this study. Data were collected using self-administered questionnaires from a sample of 139 observations. Sample observations were randomly selected from a total population of 217 observations. In analyzing data, a set of nonparametric statistical tests were performed using SPSS. The study posts some significant differences between some groups that were classified on the basis of demographical Variables. The study focused on the concepts of job performance, creativity and organizational environment that are very well appreciated and viewed as means to improve employee performance. Findings show that there is no significant direct relationship between creativity and performance. This relationship turned out to be significant when organizational environment was introduced as a mediator variable. The study presented a set of recommendations to improve the work environment based on the sample responses. Training, incentives, organization structure and work procedures are the focus of these recommendations. |
