Abstract This work was to study the genetics behavior of some economic traits in some of the bread wheat genotypes under recommended and late planting dates. The fieldwork was carried out from 2012 to 2015. Estimates of the genetic parameters, showed that the non-additive effect was bigger than the additive effect. Grain yield per plant (gm.): - For parent Shandaweel-1 (P1) was the highest value in this trait under both planting dates. Similarly, the F1 crosses (P7xP8) and (P6xP8) were recorded the highest value under (D1) and (D2), respectively, and the highest value for the F2 hybrids by crosses (P1xP4) and (P1xP8) under (D1) and (D2), respectively. Cross (P7xP8) compared to mid and better parents under (D1), while, cross (P1xP7) compared to mid-parents under (D1) and cross (P6xP8) compared to better parents under (D2), for grain yield/plant. For grain yield/plant cross (P1xP7) under (D1, D2), and crosses (P1xP5), (P2xP6), (P4xP5) and (P7xP8) under (D1), while, cross (P1xP4), (P2xP5) and (P6xP8) under (D2). |
