المستخلص

The researcher aimed at improving the level of students while
playing the nay instrument via innovated exercises that are inspired
by some works of Mohammed Al Moogy’s in order to reach a
satisfactory performance. The researcher while teaching
neyinstrument, noticed that the students face many difficulties
regarding performance methods such as intermittent and
contentious tunes, slide dual audio, musical ornaments, rhythmic
variation and train students on them to improve their performance
in addition to deduction of some training to facilitate the difficulties
that students may face.
The research includes five chapters:
Chapter One:
The researcher demonstrated the research problem which is
improving the performance level of the students. The researcher
high lighted the objectives of the researcher, the scope of its
importance and its purpose and further, he set the researcher
hypothesis. The researcher applied the experimental method (one
group only) to fulfill the set hypothesis . The researcher sample
included third year students. Tools of the Study were later
illustrated followed by some technical terms.
Chapter Two:
Chapter two is divided into three sections
First section:
The researcher demonstrated the definition of Nay, its origin,
development, Nay in ancient Egypt, Ashorian and Islamic
civilizations and Nay instrument in Andalusia and MamlukEra, and
in the 19th and 20th centuries.The researcher tackled the audio
character of Ney as well as the used neys. The second layers of nay , main Performance , methods , Nay manufacture were also
illustrated in addition to some instruments similar to Nay
Section Two:
This section presents a historical brief on Mohamed Al-
Moogy’s life artistic history and his contributions with the pioneers
of arab song Om Kalthom and Abdel Halim Hafez.His artistic
participation was divided into three phases with a demonstration of
some of his works with many signers. The researcher highlighted his
main characteristics prizes and some of his achievements.
Section Three :
This section includes the definition of learning conditions,
Practice conditions; the definition of the instructor and his/her
required characteristics.
Chapter Three:
This Chapter handled the related previous literature which are
divided into two main axes:
Axis I: Previous literature related to Nay instrument
-Development of nay performance level
- Essential difficulties that nay performances mayencounter and
way of overcoming them
- A comparative study of the main nay performance techniques in
Egypt and Turkey
- Using folk melodies in teaching nay instrument to beginners
students
- The efficacy of a program based on Ensemble template by
Abdel Halim to improve ney performance level of students
Axis II: Previous Literature related to Mohamed Al Moogy works
- Mohaed Al Moogy composing style.
An Analytical study of Mohammed Al Moogy style in
formulation of taktoka melodies.
Mohamed AlMoogy Style in composing Arabic poetic text.
Mohamed Al-Moogy creativity in formulating the melodic
phrase to express the meaning of a word.
Chapter Four:
The researcher illustrated the sample size from the works of
Mohamed Al –Moogy and driving innovated exercises from
them and to prove the research hypothesis.
The research Tools are:
-The musical blogs of the research sample
-The suggested program
- An opinion survey application for exerts as regards the exercises
suggested the researcher.
-Regarding of the research sample
- Post and pre summative assessment which was applied in the
academic year 2015/2016
The sample size was 6 students enrolled in the third year
Chapter Five:
In this chapter, the researcher presented the research results.
The statistical treatment of these results was conducted using the
arithmetic mean, slandered deviations and (t) test. The research
hypothesis was presented in addition to its results and
interpretation.In the light of the above researcher reached some
recommendation
