Abstract
Field experiments were conducted at the experimental farm of Sugar Beet Research Department, Sakha Agricultural Research Station during 2011/12, 2012/13 and 2013/14 sugar beet seasons for the following objectives: 1. Monitor population fluctuation of major sugar beet insect pests. 2. Monitor population fluctuation of insect predators and true spiders associated with sugar beet insect pests. 3. Evaluate efficacy of biocides against some sugar beet insects pests. 4. Investigate effect of intercropping between sugar beet and each of onion, garlic and fabae bean on infestation of sugar beet with some insect pests.
