Abstract
This study aimed to evaluate the influence of different cleansing techniques namely;
1) Hand instrument “Dental explorer”,
2) Rotary bur “Opticlean”,
3) EDTA
Of three provisional cement remnants;
1. Tempbond (Eugenol-containing provisional cement).
2. Tempbond NE (Eugenol-free provisional cement).
3. Tempbond clear (Resin-based provisional cement).
On the shear bond strength of two resin cement bonding approaches;
Total-etch “Aureocem DC”
Self-adhesive “RelyX U200”
Examiniation of selected samples from groups and subgroups,after using different cleansing techniques and after shear bond strength testing by Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM).
