Abstract
The Subject of the Thesis is ”Negation and its Methods in Late Egyptian”. It is very important due to the lack of independent studies in this subject in ancient Egyptian language in Late Egyptian. Knowing the negative particles or auxiliary verbs, its forms and its tenses, make the researcher reach to the best translations for the texts, and this is very important for any language to identify the Historical events and to understand their true meaning.
Ancient Egyptian language is very rich with the particles, the constructions and the auxiliary verbs of negations. Some of them appeared at the beginning of ancient Egyptian language appearance and continued with it, another some appeared in particular language periods, for example, the two particles of negation n, nn which had been used to negate both of Verbal and Nominal sentences, they were appeared since earlier period and their uses continued through ancient Egyptian language periods.
The negative method in Late Egyptian mainly depends on the type of the negative auxiliary verb or particle of negation and the tense of the sentence A very important point in negation in Egyptian language that the negation particle or auxiliary verb sometimes deal only with one word of the sentence and sometimes whole the sentence.
