Abstract
Two field experiments were carried out at the Agricultural Research and Experiments Center of the Agriculture faculty, El- Minia University at El- Minia governorate, Egypt during 2011/ 2012 and 2012 / 2013 seasons . Research was design to investigate the effect of four intercropping patterns and three wheat varieties (Giza 168 , Seds 12 and Sakha 93) on growth, yield and yield components of sugar beet ( Beta vulgaris L.) cv. Kawemira and wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) as well as chemical analysis of sugar beet . Asplit- plots design with four replications was used .
