Abstract This work aims to use 2-thiazolylhydrazonomalononitrile (1) in the synthesis of some new compounds related to thiazole. Which posses considerable synthetic and pharmaceutical interest. The original compounds were confirmed by the spectral data and submitted for biological evolution. The obtained results can be summarized as follow: By using the eco- friendly solvents for the preparation of new chemical compounds containing thiazole nucleus and separated in pure form and recognized by IR spectroscopy, nuclear magnetic resonance and mass spectrometry We report herein the results our study of the reactions 2-thiazolylhydrazonomalononitrile (1) with some carbon and nitrogen nucleophiles. Such as hydrazine hydrate & sodium azide & thiourea & aromatic amines& hydrazines & piperidine & malononitrile. The results revealed that, most of tested compounds displayed variable inhibitory effects. In general, compounds (3), (4), (9), (15) and (18-24) displayed the highest antioxidant activity). Further interpretation of the results revealed that compounds (6), (7), (8), (10), (13), (14), (16), (17) and (27) showed moderate antioxidant activity while compounds (11), (12), (25), (26), (28), (29), (31) and (33) showed weak antioxidant activity. The results showed that the method of preparation of these compounds was economic and eco- friendly. |
