The objective of the study : Identify the awareness of heads of households recycling of household waste and the factors associated with it and this is achieved through sub-goals The study was conducted on : 500 heads of families from rural and urban areas of different socio-economic levels were randomly selected study included tools to preliminary data form of the family and awareness associated with recycling of household waste and form awareness of recycling household waste and the three form factors. The study findings : 1. There are no differences in awareness among sample female heads of households depending on (Family size - work of female heads of households - housing). 2. There are differences in awareness among sample female heads of households depending on (benefiting from means of media in the field of recycling of household wastes-reading magazines and newspapers on the recycling of household wastes-how far they benefit from educational curriculum in the field of recycling of household wastes- participation and benefiting from civil society organizations).
