Abstract This study aimed to : Evaluate the toxic effects of some alternative pesticides (plant extracts of Nicotiana glauca R. Grah., Spinetoram, Spinosad, Methylamine avermectine on Spodoptera littoralis, Tetranychus urticae and Rattus rattus. Estimate the effect of the tested compounds on enzyme activities on on S. littoralis, T. urticae and R. rattus. Studing the heamatological of the tested compounds in blood serum of R. rattus. Methods & Results : Effect on some insects Toxicological studies of the laboratory and field strains of 2nd and 4th instar larvae : Methylamine avermectin proved to be the most effective compound. Biochemical studies on enzyme activities : There were different effects includes significant and non-significant in enzyme activities. Two-spotted spider mite T. urticae Assessment of the activity of the tested compounds against adult females: Methylamine avermectin proved to be the most effective compound. Biochemical studies of acaricidal activity of the tested compounds : There were different effects includes significant and non-significant in enzyme activities. Effect of sublethal concentrations of the tested compounds on some biometric measurements : The tested compounds made significant effects in different periods. Toxicological studies of conventional and alternative pesticides on white male albino rats R. rattus Determination of the median lethal dose of N. glauca leaves extract Toxic effects on blood picture Methylamine avermectin and the plant extract made significant effects on blood picture. Biochemical studies on enzyme activities. There were different effects includes significant and non-significant in enzyme activities. Conclusion : It can be concluded that alternative pesticides can play an important role in developing integrated crop management in Egypt. |
