Abstract
The present study was carried out on 30 heads of apparently healthy sheep and donkey of different species of both sexes with variable ages. These heads were treated according to the aim of work. Glandula lacrimalis located on the craniodorsolateral aspect of the orbit outside the periorbita in sheep and donkey. Caruncula lacrimalis was dark brown in color, ovoid elevation and Saccus lacrimalis was a small triangular dilatation. Glandula lacrimalis was supplied by A. lacrimalis and in both animals under and was innervated by N. Lacrimalis. Glandula lacrimalis of compound tubuloalveolar type. It consisted of stroma and parenchyma. The parenchyma was composed acini and duct system. the surface of Glandula lacrimalis showed variable sized lobules which connected with each other in sheep and donkey.
