Abstract Background: Stroke rehabilitation provides the opportunity for stroke survivors to participate in their recovery with the goal of returning to active, fulfilling lives. Nursing role in early neurological rehabilitation after stroke is vital in management of patient. The nurse has a critical role to optimize acute patient care and move the patient to rehabilitation quickly to maximize the patient’s outcome. A high quality performance of the nurses in the neurological rehabilitation would decrease morbidity, mortality and improve quality of care for such group of patients. |
