Abstract The present study was carried out at experimental farm of faculty of agriculture, south valley university, qena, Egypt, during seasons of 2010/2011 and 2011/2012, to study the effect of both bio and chemical fertilizer on productivity and quality of carrot (daucus carota l.). Seeds of carrot cultivar (chantenay) were sown at 11st of November in randomly assigned in a randomized complete bloks design with three replicates. The chemical fertilizer as nitrogenous fertilizer applied in the form of ammonium nitrate (33.5%N) phosphorus fertilizer applied in the form of calcium superphosphate (15.5%P2O5) and Potassium fertilizer applied in the form of Potassium sulfate (50%K2O). while, the bio-fertilizer as Azoteen (Azotobacter chrocoocum), Mycoriezeen (Mycorrhiza fungi) and putassimag (bacillus circulance). |
