Abstract The present study was carried out on ten newly born buffalo calves and isolated organs of 60 adult buffalo bulls aged from 2-3 years. These calves and specimens were treated according to the aim of work. I- Pars pelvina Urethra masculina (Pelvic urethra): Pars pelvina Urethra masculina of buffalo bulls was thick cylindrical organ. It extended from the internal urethral orifice at the neck of the urinary bladder till the level of the ischial arch. Pars pelvina Urethra masculina was supplied by Ramus urethralis of A. prostatica and A. urethralis of A. pudenda interna. The venous drainage was satellite to the arteries. The innervation of Pars pelvina was derived from Plexus pelvinus and N. perinealis profundus of N. pudendus. Microscopically, Pars pelvina Urethra masculina was lined with transitional epithelium. Propria-submucosa had highly vascular connective tissue with the presence of the glands of Pars disseminata prostatae. By scanning electron microscope, Pars pelvina Urethra masculina showed large ruffled appearance, mucosal folds, as well as the orifices of the excretory ducts of the accessory genital glands. II- Ampulla ductus deferentis: The duct of Ampulla ductus deferentis joined with Ductus excretorius of Glandula vesicularis, forming Ductus ejaculatorius. Ampulla ductus deferentis was supplied by two Rami ampulla ductus deferentis from Ramus ductus deferentis of A. prostatica. The satellite veins ran generally parallel to the |
