The current research aimed at find the Effectiveness of Multi-media Supported Brain Storming in teaching Social Studies for developing both of : 1. Some creative thinking skills. 2. Attitudes toward Social Studies. The sample consisted of (64) preparatory students in the first grade,They were divided into two groups ” an experimental group consisting of (32)students studied the selected units using brain storming supported by multimedia and a control group consisting of (32) students studied the same units using the usual way ”, The pre and post measurements were applied for the two group using the tools prepared by the researcher that was : a test of verbal creative thinking abilities and an attitude scale towards Social Studies. The current research revealed the following results : 1. There is a statistically significant difference on the level of (0.05) between the grades averages of the experimental group in the pre and post two applications to test the creative thinking capabilities ( Dimensions - total score ) for the post application ( upper average ). 2. There is a statistically significant difference on the level of (0.05 )between the grades averages of the experimental group in the pre and post two applications in the attitude towards the Social Studies ( Dimensions - total score ) for the post application( upper average ). 3. There is a statistically significant difference on the level of (0.05)between the grades averages of the experimental and control group in the post application to test the creative thinking capabilities ( Dimensions - total score) for the experimental group ( upper average ). 4. There is a statistically significant difference on the level of (0.05) between the grades averages of the experimental and control group in the post application in the attitude towards the Social Studies ( Dimensions - total score) for the experimental group ( upper average ).
