Abstract

The present work deals with the palynological analyses of total 193 ditch samples processed -#102;-#114;-#111;-#109; subsurface stratigraphic Upper Jurassic-lower Cretaceous -#102;-#114;-#111;-#109; Fadda-1, Siqeifa 1-X, Umbarka1-X and Obayied-D8 wells in the northern Western Desert, Egypt. Two of these wells have a productive samples for high-resolution time-stratigraphy, palynofacies analysis and palaeoenvironment interpretation. Moreover, this thesis comprehensive for the assessment of hydrocarbon potential to the studied rock units through visual/optical microscopic investigation and through the ternary diagrams for kerogen plot
