Abstract

This study aimed to determine osteoprotegerin in the gingival crevicular fluid, saliva and tissues of patients with severe chronic periodontitis, before and after modified Widman flap, in an attempt to evaluate osteoprotegerin as a diagnostic and prognostic marker of periodontal disease.
