Abstract

This chapter focus on three main parts: the 2D chaotic encryption algorithms in
different transform domains to find out the best chaotic cryptosystem in the optimum
transform domain, studying the effect of the modes of operation and angle used in the
FrFT domain on the encryption quality, and finally present an efficient image
cryptosystem that provide the best performance depending on the previous results.
from the obtained results in this chapter some concluding remarks can be taken:
1) The diffusion chaotic cryptosystem (Henon map) has better performance than
confusion chaotic crypto systems (Baker map and Arnold Cat map) and RC6.
2) The Fractional Fourier Transform domain improve the performance of
chaotic maps and is preferable than other domains (DCT and DWT).
3) The modes of operation can improve the performance of chaotic
cryptosystem except for noise immunity.
4) The difference of angle used in the FrFT domain does not affect the
encryption quality and this increase the transform sensitivity.
5) An efficient chaotic cryptosystems based on multiple chaotic systems is
proposed to provide good performance.
