Abstract
Out of 292 pooled examined samples (252 pooled samples for broiler,40pooled samples for layer ) from different Governorate ,40pooled samples were positive for Mycoplasma synoviae isolation with percent (21 pooled positive samples for broiler ,19pooled positive samples for layer),with percentage 13.7%(8.3%-47.5%). polymerase chain reaction(PCR) were used for detection of Mycoplasma synoviae by vlhA gene 62 pooled samples were positive out of 292 pooled samples (32 pooled samples for broiler ,30 pooled samples for layer)with percentage 21%(12.5%-75%). 88 samples were collected from wild bird were negative for MS by isolation and PCR. Sequencing of two isolates from chicken (Al Dakahlia) by vlhA gene showed 80.5% identity between each other and deposited in a group differ from each other.
