Abstract The work reported in this thesis has been distributed in seven chapters outlined as follows: The first chapter is introductory and comprises of historical background, recent developments, literature survey on the subject and allied fields in addition to outline of basic governing equations of fiber-reinforced and their reductions to thermoelasticity. In the second chapter, we used the Lord-Shulman theory with one relaxation time and the classical dynamical coupled theory of thermoelasticity to discuss the influence of reinforcement on the total deformation of rotating thermoelastic half-space and the interaction with each other. The problem of thermal shock problem has been solved. The normal mode analysis is used to obtain the expressions for the variables considered. The distributions of temperature, displacement and thermal stress components are represented graphically. |
