Abstract This study was carried out at a private orchard in Ismalia Governorate , (eastern lakes area at Sinai middle) , Egypt, during two successive seasons 2008 and 2009. Six years old trees of two citrus species, Navel orange C. sinensis cultivars ( Washington it is cultivar imported, anteceded evaluation and attributes stabilized, and cultivars Newhall, Lane late and cultivar Nova (Clementine mandarin) it is three cultivars new imported, under evaluation, this cultivars budded on four rootstocks: Rangpur lemon (RL) C. Limonia, Volkamer Lemon (VL) C. Volkam erian a , Sour orange (SO) C. aurantum and Carizo citrange (CC) C. sinensis . The trees were grown in sandy and loamy reclemed soil conditions under drip irrigation systeme , amid to evaluation this new cultivars and investigate the effect of rootstock and soil type on growth behavior and yield and fruit quality . |
