Abstract This study has been carried out for highlight on the effects of some mycotoxins (Aflatoxin, Ochratoxin and their combination) on, clinical and pathological picture in broiler chickens. The experiment was carried out on a number of 100 Arber Acers broiler chicks of one day old, classified into 4 groups each contain 25 chickens. The 1st group was kept as control, the 2nd group was fed contaminated feed at dose level of 2ppm Aflatoxin, the 3rd group was fed contaminated feed at dose level of 4ppm Ochratoxin and the 4th group was fed contaminated feed at dose level of 2ppm Aflatoxin + 4ppm Ochratoxin from the first day of age, at 2nd, 4th and 6th week of experiment sampling of blood, serum and tissue specimens were collected for hematological, serological, and histopathological investigation parameters. The used toxin doses not induced characteristic clinical signs or mortality, but induced pathological lesions and changes in blood and serum analytic values. The obtained data were increased in correlation with increased dose, combination as well as prolonged administration. |
