Abstract Numerous studies had addressed natural teeth connected to implants to support fixed dental prostheses (FDP), however, little information had available on connector design so this study was designed to evaluate the clinical outcome of implant-tooth-supported FDP with rigid connector or non-rigid connector. For this study, fourteen female healthy partially edentulous patients with distal-extension edentulous area (had missing mandibular 1st, 2nd, 3rd molars) were be selected for restoration of missing teeth using implant-tooth-supported FDP. All patients were classified into two groups (n=7) according to the connector design of FDP. |
