المستخلص
The purpose of this research is to identify the impact of a proposed program in mathematics for students of superior high school to develop their creativity, and through the development of some activities on topics in algebra and geometry have been to the research group studied in the syllabus of the previous school for the application of research.
Research tools consisted of:
• Experimental tools was the (sheets of activities - a guide for the teacher who has the opportunity to supervise the practice of these activities).
• measuring tools and had been:
- Achievement test in mathematics before / after.
- Test of Creative Thinking before.
- Test of Creative Thinking after.
- A measure of interest towards mathematics.
- A measure of the attitude towards creative thinking.
- Testing of personality traits.
- Note card during the application of the programme.
- Identification of opinion in the programme.
The use of quasi-experimental approach with the one group, and the research group consisted of (30) talented students from first grade students of Khadija Yusuf secondary school girls in Assiut.
Search results show the effectiveness of the programme in the development of achievement in mathematics, and creative thinking skills in mathematics, and the results showed the effectiveness of the program in the development of interests towards mathematics, and the attitude towards creative thinking, and change in personality traits for students research group.
