Abstract This investigation was carried out during the two successive seasons of 2008 and 2009 on Ewaise mango trees onto seeling mango rootstock in a private mango orchard situated at El- Khodirate village, Nagh Hammady district, Qena Governorate where the soil is silty clay. The trees are planted at 5 x 5 meters apart. Surface irrigation system was followed. The present experiment included sixteen treatments from two factors A & B. The first factor (A) contained four treatments from different nutrients Each treatment was replicated three times, one tree per each (48 trees were selected for achieving this experiment) from economical point of view, it is recommended to spray Ewaise mango trees three times at growth start, just fruit setting and at one month later with a mixture containing urea at 0.5 %, orthophosphopric acid at 0.1% , potassium sulphate at 0.2 % , magnesium sulphate at 0.5%, chelated – zinc at 0.05 %, chelated –Fe at 0.05 %, chelated –Mn at 0.05 % Cupper sulphate at 0.025% , boric acid at 0.05 % and seaweed extract at 0.1 % for improving yield quantitively and qualitively. This recommendation was true under experimental and resembling conditions. Application of such promised treatment in one fed. cultivated with Ewaise mango trees (160 trees) was accompanied with producing net profit reached 9800 and 14700 Egyptian pounds over the control treatment during 2008 and 2009 seasons, respectively. |
