Abstract Aeration is considered as the most important biological treatment process for waste water. There are many types of equipment used for wastewater aeration and also to provide mixing to keep solids suspended for more effective treatment. Aeration methods were developed in order to minimize cost, power and make the maintenance easier. This research presents a study for the performance of the ejector as one of those new methods used in aeration. It shows how the dissolved oxygen concentration at different points is affected by the number of ejectors used and also its arrangement of the aerators in the tank. |
