Abstract
Dietary supplementation with nutrients rich in antioxidants is associated with specific health benfits. Pomegranate, apple and orange peels are good sources of polyphenols and other antioxidants. Proximate chemical composition, total phenols(TP), some polyphenols fraction, carotenoids, anthocyanine, pectin and mineral contents of dried fruit peels were detrmined.
