Abstract
the receptor concept has firmly underpinned our advances in drug development and molecular medicine it is clear that it will continue to drive pharmaceutical developments.recent approaches have shed new light on receptor interactions that provide novel mechanisms of action and regulation.in recent years,the concept of allosteric modulation of receptors has matured and now represents an increasingly viable approach to drug discovery.
