Abstract
This part is divided into four chapters:
First chapter : gives us an overview of the Korean economy, the
background to financial Institution building in response to globalization.
Second chapter : shows its current economic trends.
Third chapter : The history and implications of Korea’s capital account
liberalization, the liberalization of the capital account in the 80’s and in
the 90’s prior to the crisis and the IMF program and further liberalization.
Fourth chapter studies: The impact of financial globalization on economic
development.
