Abstract
Ovariectomized rats subjected to weekly I/M injection to 10.5 months with estrogens/progesterone drugs; norethisterone enanthate / estradiol valerate or progesterone/estradiol benzoate tended to show decrease in body weight gain, megaloblstic anemia, neutrophilia, lymphopenia, hypoglycemia, elevated cholesterol and triglycerides levels with significant increase in creatinine and uric acid values, increased ALT and AST enzymes activities and significant reduction ALP activity.
