Abstract
In this study, LPS antigens were prepared from Brucella abortus
strain 99 and Brucella melitensis strain 16 M also outer membrane
proteins were prepared from the same strains and ELlSA was
applied to evaluate its serodiagnostic efficacy.
Several serological testes were applied on different serum
samples collected from the field including RBT, Rivanol test, TAT
and BAPAT to compare the results in between them and with the
prepared LPS and OMPs antigens.
So, the present investigation was conducted in 4phasesr
Phase I: Obtaining the following standard Brucella strains(B.abortus
strain 99 and B. melitensis strain 16M) and identification of these
strains by bacteriological examination and antigenic
characterization.
Phase 11:Separation& Characterization of Outer membrane protein
(OMP) of the collected standard Brucella strains_separation using
SOS-PAGE and bands of different molecular weights were recorded
and the result was discussed.
