Abstract
Deities, heroes and myths have inspired sculptors and provided sculpture
with its chief themes. The statues, which came from Graeco-Roman Egypt, reflect
the religious life of the country. The thesis consists of two volumes one for the text
and the second for the plates. The thesis is divided into five chapters and the
conclusion.
