The summary of study introduction prtistic techniques in school theater performances represent a compound organization which includes several artistic elements ( such as scenes, decoration, lights, costumes, accessories, music, sound effects, songs, make up and masks ), all of them relieve the great responsibility that is on the shoulders of the director as the main people who is responsible for the performances, especially, directing educational performances requires the awaring of functioning these techniques in an interesting way which attract the viewers (students) ,and urge them to watch the performances on the stage without feeling bored or upset due to the increase of the educational side comparing to the artistic one or vice versa, And owing to the importance of the role played by the artistic techniques in theater performances in schools, the researcher will study and diagnose its function, duty of each element, in the performances, trying that through out the analysis of the performances and knowing the extent of the use of available abilities which affect the theater performances, The problem of The study The main question ”what is the role of the artistic techniques in school theater performances ? ” and from this question, questions about analytic studies and realm studies come, The importance of the study : 1 - The study has its importance from the importance of the theater as a luxurious and impressive means that contributes to developing the students’ social, intellectual ethical and emotional abilities, 2 - This study is very important because of the great role played by Artistic techniques in school theater performances, It develops educational sides for the students and creates site and time environment to the plot of the drama shown to facilitate understanding and getting the message of the topic, The Aims Of The Study : The study in its present aims to recognizing the impression and Effect of the artistic techniques on the student viewers from the sides of education, cognition and ethics Limitations of the research: The period of time for this study is from 2006 to the end of the year 2010, The type Of The Study : This study belongs to descriptive method, The Tools Of The Study : The questionnaire form, The Sample Of The Study : A group of theater shows which were performed by the students of primary and prepatory schools in the governerates Cairo, Giza, and Qalubia, The Study’s concepts : Artistic techniques : It means the techniques which deal with senses whether they are hearing or sight throughout technical elements which include decoration, light, music, sound effects, costumes, makeup and masks, accessories and ornaments School Theater : It means employing the art of Theater inside Educational institutes whether it aims Educational, which aim to teach students and training them on Theater techniques and discovering and developing the artistic talents in that field, Beside helping the educational parts in dramatic frame and simple performances and which takes place inside the classroom or on the stage of the school Theater or places of traditional Theater, Conclusions Of The Study, 1 - Realm studies’ results showed that public light was suitable for theater shows that were samples of the study and it came first with the percentage, 64 % and, 2 - Realm studies’ results showed that the dancing performances were suitable for the topic of the theater show Therefore, it came first with a percentage of 40% and came after it shows that were quite suitable with a percentage of 33.34%, And this results is different from what the analysis study of the artistic techniques achieved, because these didn’t employ the dancing performances in most shows and this appeared in the shows of The Sun Of The Day, The Lamp, The Return Of The Triangle, The Land Of The Elephants … etc
