Abstract The present work was conducted mainly to study frteot of various dietary protein and energy levels the early stage of life on the morphological and ologica1 changes o±’ the male fowl reproductive orga— rand consequently on the reproductive performance. The experiment was carried out, at Inshas Ebperi— ntal Station, Research Institute of Animal production, icu1tura1 Research Centre. A total of one thousand old Dokki “4” male chicks were employed in this study d fed a diet 1 containing 20 % orude protein and 2588K. a1.M.E/kg. diet during the first two weeks of age. hen, they were distributed at random into the following cperirnenta1 groups jGroup 1 Was fed diet (1) containing 20 % crude protein F. and 2588 K.Cai.M.E./kg. diet with calorie/protein ntio (o/p ratio)of a 129/1. Group 2 Was fed adiet (2) containing 19.39 % crude protein and 2246 K.Cal.M.E/kg. diet with c/p ratio of a 115/1. Group 3 Was fed a diet (3) containing 15.46 % crude protein and 2002 K.Cal. M.E/kd. diet with c/p ratio of a 129/1. |
