Abstract
he thesis deals with mineralogical studies on three god deposits, namely Um Rus, Barramiya and Atud, and aims to locate the textural sitting of visable gold, and to estimate amount and distribution of invisible gold withen and / or among the assocated sulfides and their chemical implications, particulary the au-as relationship. um rus gold deposit occurs in azone of hybrid rocks between agranodiorite pluton and the surrounding younger gabbro. in the meladiorite (gabbroic) side of the hybrid zone, invisible gold occasionaly occurs in specific to as and co-rich zones of pyrite (py-i).
