المستخلص

This study aims to know the development of the illiteracy eradication during the nineteenth period and the beginning of the 21st century, and its results on illiteracy eradication. This is to know the weak and strong points of efforts in this period . Then to keep the strong points and improve the weak points under the changes of this age and the reflection of illiteracy eradication on the education in general and primary education especially.
This study uses the analysis and description method. And it is the study suitable method to this study because it depends on collecting the information, and analysing it in a reasonable way to suit the aims of the study and to help in answering its questions.
The results of the study :
- This age with its changes does not have place to any illiterate who does not know reading, writing and calculations . Because the illiterate can not be able to treat well with modernization which opens all the fields of life.
- Some changes of this age can play an important role in the new directions of the illiteracy eradication.
- The decreasing of laws towards the absence of the illiterates, and encourage them to share in the classes of the illiteracy eradication.
- Forgetting the place of the study during the planning of illiteracy eradication programmes.
- There is not department in foundation of education to train and prepare teachers to the classes of the illiteracy eradication.
