المستخلص
All subjects of the study were subjected to:
1- Full history and clinical examination.
2- Routin laboratory investigation including renal function, urine, stool analysis and complete blood picture.
3- Researches investigation:
-determination of fasting blood glucose.
-measurment of serum creatinine.
- determination plasma 25(OH)-vitamin D3.
- determination of HBAIc . The result of the study can be summarized as follows:
- On comparing between the groups, plasma 25 hydroxy Vitamin D3 showed a significant decrease in type 2 diabetic patients when compared to control group .Aso, it was significantly lower in diabetic nephropathy when compared to control group .
- Glycosylated hemoglobin was significantly higher in type 2 diabetic patients when compared to control group .
- There also was a significant increase in Glycosylated hemoglobin in patients with diabetic nephropathy when compared to control group.
On comparing between the groups, fasting blood glucose was significantly higher in type 2 diabetic patients and patients with diabetic nephropathy when compared to control group.
On comparing between the groups, serum creatinine level was significantly increase in patients with diabetic nephropathy.
