Abstract This study was carried out during two successive seasons 2004/2005 and 2005/2006 at Sakha Agriculture research station, Kafr El-Sheikh governorate to study the effect of rootstock, pre harvest treatments such as (CaCl2 0.8, KNO3, 2% and GA3 50 ppm) and post harvest treatments such as (plant oil I m/L, CaCl2 3 % and wax 18 %) on storability and keeping quality of valencia orange fruits, the trees were budded on two citrus root stocks, i.e. volkamer lemon and sour orange, preharvest treatments were applied at pea, marble and colour break stages, fruits stored at 5 degrees C And at room temperature. |
