Abstract
The lack of detailed studies on the vascularity of the kidney was a stimulus to perform the present study in order to follow up the postnatal gross and minute distribution of the blood vessels in the albino rat. The postnatal development of the different parts of the kidney was also carried out. Meanwhile the present study aimed also to follow up the age changes which may occur in the normal blood vessels and kidney parenchyma under the effect of ethanol on these structures .
