Abstract
Ageneral Survey of the Previous Litrature on the Polarographic Reduction of O-M-and P- Nitrophenols was Given .The Results of the Various Authors are Not in Agreement. This has Been Advocated to Varying Experimental Conditions as for Example Ph Value Nature of the Buffer and Supporting Electrolyte Additives Present Etc…..as well as the Adsorbabillity of the Depolarizers Frpm this Review it Appeared that More Work Was Needed to Show Further Light on the Characteristics of the Polarographic Waves as well as Kinetics and Mechanisms of the electrode Reaction.
The Polarographic Behaviour of these Compounds was Studied in Aqueous Buffered Solutions Containing 40 Vol Ethano; Covering the PH Range 2-12.
