Abstract
The present study was carried out to investigate: (1) the effect of cultivars, locations, seacone and their interactions on cotton fiber maturity and other fiber and yarn properties, (2) the relationship of fiber maturity to other fiber and yarn properties, and (3) the relative contrinution of fiber maturity and other main fiber characters to single strand sterngth, appearance and eenness.
