Abstract – soya – beans are newly introduced legumes in Egypt . It has been found that the nodulation of these plants is very low under Egyptian soils conditions that may affect atmospheric nitrogen fixation and consequently the yield of that important legume . This is because the specific rhizobia strains are laking in Egyptian soils . This investigation is designed in three steps as follows : 1 . selection of the most efficient strain of R. japonicum to be used in inoculating soya-bean seeds before planting . |
