Abstract

The merit of the present study was examining the influence of concentrations and dates of spraying Sodium Azide and Algae Extract concentrations on growth, yield as well as physical and chemical properties of Early Superior grape.
According to the obtained date on both seasons. It is concluded that:
1-Using breaking dormancy agents was beneficial for Early Superior grapevines at middle of Egypt.
2-Using Sodium Azide was highly effective at lower concentrations (at 0.1 %).
3-The importance of selecting the best date for obtaining the profits of Sodium Azide in breaking dormancy.
4-Spraying Sodium Azide on 1 Jan. was preferable than 20 Dec.
5-Application of Algae Extract at 0.10 % gave striking effects on growth and fruiting of Early Superior grapevines.
6-It is recommended to use Sodium Azide at 0.1 % on 1 Jan. and application of Algae Extract at 0.10 % three times on 10 days before blooming (1th week of March), after berry setting (1st week of April) and at 21 days later (the last week of April) at 0.10 % for obtaining an economical yield and improving fruit quality of Early Superior grapevine.
