Abstract Theis investigation aimed to obiochemical mutants by two different chemical mutagens;dithylamine and Nmethyl-N-nitrosoguanidine in both fungi,Aspergillus niger and Fusarium oxysporum.Attempts also were made in crosses between the biochemical mutants and to carry out some genetical analysis. The pathogenicity of diploids for both fungi had been determind on onion(Giza 6 cultivar). Finally some cytological investigation on both fungi aiming to determine could be summarized as follows: 1-Asingle spore wild type isolate of A.niger was treated with different concentration of diethylamine.Five biochemical mutants were obatined;one by0.0375 m1 DEA/10m1 conidial suspension for 30 min.at 37ºC and four by tetreatment of asingle spore culture isolated from wild type previously treated with 0.0375 m1/10 m1 concidial suspension. The five biochemical mutants were;one cystineless, one prolineless, one alanineless and two adenineless mutants. |
