Abstract

Nigella satiua (Black cumin)is one of the most economical and promising crops in the recent decades.it is considered as one of the most important and widely cultivated medicinal and aromatic plants grown in minia governorate. It is increasingly used in medicinal folkore and is involved in different pharmaceutical preparations.
Oil is the most important compound in Nigella seeds because it contains the active ingredient nigellone. Such compound is used as an antiasthatic drug, in strengthening the immunity system and some other clinical purposes.
Phosphours fertilization and honeybee pollination are among many other agricultural practices which could increase the yield and improve the quality of the seeds and oil of this plant.
