Abstract THIS RESEARCH WOKR AIMS TO ADD THE ADVANTAGES OF NEURAL NETWORK BASED CONTROL ALGORITHM AS A SOFTWARE TO THOSE OF THE PROGRAMMABLE LOGIC CONTROLLER (PLC) THE PLC IS USED AS A HARDWARE CONTROL SYSTEM ASSOCIATED WITH ITS PROGRAMMABILITY TO CONSTITUTE AN ADAPTIVE CONTROL EMBEDDED SYSTEM. THE RESULTANT EMBEDDED CONTROL SYSTEM IS REQUIRED TO BE ABLE TO BEAR THE INDUSTRIAL ENVIRONMENT (THIS IS AVAILABLE FOR THE PLC.). IT IS ALSO REQUIRED TO BE ABLE TO CONTROL THE PLANYS OF NONLINEAR NATURE, ABLE TO POSSES AN ADAPTIVE MANNER TO DEAL WITH THE PARAMETERS’ DEIFTS OF THE CONTROLLED PLANT UNDER CONTINUOUS OPERATION. IT IS ALSO REQUIRED TO SELF-TUNE ITS PARAMETERS IN THE REAL TIME WITHOUT THE NEED TO BE MANUALLY ADJUSTED OFFLINE. FINALLY, IT IS REQUIRED TO BE GENERAL FOR VARIOUS PLANTS WITH DIFFERENT TRANSFER OR DESCRIBING FUNCTIONS WITHOUT THE NECESSITY TO OUS PLANTS WITH DIFFERENT TRANSFER OR DESCRIBING FUNCTIONS WITHOUT THE NECESSITY TO CHANGE ITS DESING DEPENDING ON THE RELATED TRANSFER FUNCTION. |
